The Unreal-Surreal-Abstract-Art-Attack! Kate Teal-Spicer Artist Workshop
Fun kids workshops designed for ages 6-15 years. Kate Teal-Spicer, a local Newcastle artist, has developed a series of workshops that will be taking place over the year. Each workshop is slightly different and focuses on different elements of art. Each workshop is 90 minutes of exploration, experimenting with different techniques and styles and learning in a hands-on way.
Parents and carers are more than welcome to stay in the class with their child, or return 10 minutes before the end of the workshop to see your kid's creations.
This workshop is - The Unreal-Surreal-Abstract-Art-Attack!
The Unreal-Surreal-Abstract-Attack is a workshop that explores abstract art in its many forms such as Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo, Vincent Van Gogh, Hilma af Klint, and Salvador Dali, and how you can represent the world without being realistic in how you do it. This workshop is great for getting kids to think conceptually about the world, places and people and how to let loose and draw.
Only 20 spots available per workshop so book now to avoid missing out!
