Tastes of the Hunter Wine Tours Newcastle

Leave the driving, navigating and cellar door booking to us as we take you on a journey through the Hunter Valley visiting 3 cellar doors for private presentations with our own dedicated cellar door staff member.

You'll taste white, red, sparkling and dessert wines including varietals the Hunter is famous for and unique wine blends created by the individual wine maker. We visit boutique cellar doors where the label alone doesn't tell the full story of what you'll get with a particular wine - tasting is essential.

We stop for a casual lunch at either Matilda Bay Brewhouse, Twine Restaurant or Harrigan's Irish pub (own expense on the day with most meals around $25 each) where you'll also have the opportunity to purchase a craft beer paddle. After lunch we'll visit the Smelly Cheese shop and the Pokolbin Chocolate Company shop to try locally made chocolates and fudges before finishing with a visit to Hunter Distillery where you can try flavoured vodkas, schnapps and gins infused with local botanicals and oils.

We are Hunter Valley locals (born and bred in Newcastle) and love sharing the unique wines and local stories that bring the Hunter's history and people to life.
