Secret Book Stuff

Secret Book Stuff is a social enterprise bookshop and community event space, celebrating literature and kindness. They are located at the Old Newcastle Station, a heritage-listed building in the centre of town right by the water. All profits made in store support volunteer trips to remote communities in Australia where they run kindness workshops in schools and donate books to kids, through the Books for Outback charity. They also have a huge book exchange lending library, and run regular free events for the community.
