Beach 5s on Nobbys Beach coincides annually with Australia Day. It is spectacular, fast-paced, and exciting, based on modified Rugby Union and Rugby League rules—no scrums, no line-outs—and supports both codes.

Beach 5s is a refreshing new beach sport offering an off-season recreational summer for all who attend. It offers a picturesque beach setting—marquees / décor, deck chairs, outside patio umbrellas—accompanied by Clubs / Teams / Player Invitations—VIPs / Sponsors / Celebrities / Media.
