The Man in the Other Room

Chloe Lankshear (soprano) and Acacia Quartet perform Ross Fiddes’ song cycle, described as “enormously appealing” (SoundsLikeSydney, 2015). This love and loss cycle of seven songs, sets poignant lyrics by Samantha Fiddes. The program includes Dvorak’s magnificent ‘American’ Quartet, written in three days while on a family holiday in Spillville, Iowa. Expect joyous melody and high emotion.
