Name: Seek Off Beat - Phase Two
In market dates: February to July 2024

The Seek Off Beat campaign was launched in August 2022 and included 12 months of activity that resulted in over 23 million impressions, 3.4 million video views and 220,000 engagements with campaign creative.

Phase two of the campaign will move the audience from learning about and considering Newcastle as their next short break destination, to actively booking experiences. As such, the campaign will feature a range of special deals, packages, and promotions (hosted on the Visit Newcastle website).  

Your business is crucial to the visitor experience in Newcastle and we invite you to participate by submitting a deal specific for this campaign.

  • Increased visibility - your deal will be featured on the Visit Newcastle website as part of the campaign, attracting web views.
  • Targeted promotion - the 'Seek Off Beat' campaign will be strategically marketed during specific dates, maximizing the exposure of your deal to the audience.

How to participate

  1. Submit your deal: Share your deal that will be promoted during the campaign. 
  2. Provide visuals: Include high-quality images or promotional materials that showcase your deal.
  3. Include details: Clearly outline terms and conditions, ensuring potential visitors have all the necessary information and links to book online.

As this is a new opportunity to industry, we will be offering this free of charge for businesses to participate.

Additional information

  • For a deal to be accepted it must meet the below criteria:
      1. Business must be listed on ATDW
      2. Deal must be valid for a minimum February-July 2024. 
      3. Booking link must be supplied to accompany deal
      4. Terms and conditions of deal must be listed on operators website with a link provided
      5. Must be able to report back to City of Newcastle on the number of claimed deals
  • City of Newcastle is not obligated to accept every deal submitted
