Grounded By Designs is a ceramic studio and workshops space in Carrington, Newcastle, offering a welcoming space to slow down, get creative and connect through clay. Nestled inside MOA & co, a conscious marketplace, the studio invites visitors to experience handmade ceramics through guided workshops and relaxed, self-directed studio sessions.

Founded by local artist Myf Garven, Grounded By Designs celebrates sustainability, intentional craftsmanship and the everyday ritual of making. Join A Claytime Workshop to hand-build your own piece, or drop in for a casual Play with Clay session, there's something to suit every skill level and interest.

You can also explore Paint Your Piece, choosing a handmade bisque-fired piece to decorate with your own design, or Present Hands, a mindfulness and clay workshop held with BronTee Meditation. No two visits are the same, and each offering brings its own way into the studio.

Throughout the year, we also host Grounded Gatherings, seasonal after-hours events with local businesses, bringing people together to paint, sip and share something different. All offerings focus on creativity without the pressure of perfection, making Grounded By Designs a fit for locals, visitors and small group gatherings alike.
