Guided Walking Food Tours exploring Newcastle Step into the heart of one of Newcastle's most vibrant and creative districts. Explore Throsby is a guided walking food tour that invites you to slow down and experience the flavours, stories, and hidden gems that make this area truly special. Led by a passionate local foodie, the tour journeys through Throsby's five villages, connected by Throsby Creek. Over 4 hours enjoy curated tastings showcasing local produce, bold flavours, and meet the people behind some of Newcastle's best food and drink. Tour Details: • Duration: 4 hour guided walking tour the suburbs within the Throsby precinct • Walking Experience: Meander through the Throsby Villages along mostly flat paths at a relaxed pace, covering approximately 2.5km • Venues & Tastings: Stop at five local venues with food included at each stop, plus two alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages included. • Meet the Makers: Hear the stories behind the venues and food, with the opportunity to meet the people creating it • Guided by a Local Foodie: Learn about the villages, with foodie facts and local history sprinkled throughout the tour Dietary requirements can be accommodated where possible, please advise when booking.
