Sapori at Tailors

"Sapori" means "flavours", a simple word that captures what Italian food is all about: authentic taste, tradition, passion and the joy of sharing great food.

Originally from Rome, they moved to Newcastle and opened Sapori at Tailors in January 2021. For over five years, they have proudly shared their passion for Italian cuisine with the Newcastle community, bringing a genuine taste of Rome and Italy to the city.

At Sapori at Tailors, they celebrate Italy as a whole, with traditional recipes, specialities from different regions across the country. Their pizza is proudly Roman-style, prepared according to the true Roman tradition, while their pasta, regional dishes and desserts take you on a culinary journey from north to south.

There's a story behind the name "at Tailors". Before Sapori, the premises were home to a tailor. They chose to preserve this part of the building's original identity as a tribute to its history while giving it a new chapter.

Every dish is prepared with carefully selected ingredients, traditional recipes and the passion, care and attention to detail that come from growing up surrounded by Italian food, culture and family traditions.

For them, Italian cuisine is much more than food. It is family, tradition, passion, quality and the pleasure of sharing unforgettable moments around the table.

Come and taste the difference authentic Italian food, made by real Italians.
