Wake to the ocean at Wave, a 2.5-bedroom apartment sitting directly across from Dixon Park Beach at Merewether. Every window frames the water, and the Bathers Way coastal walk runs right out the front, connecting you to beaches, ocean baths, cafes and bars. A relaxed, light-filled coastal stay with room for five.

Wave is all about the outlook. The ocean is visible from every window, and the light through the apartment shifts with the day, from sunrise over the water to the last of the afternoon sun on the sand.

They call it a 2.5 bedroom because the third sleeping space is a little different. The main bedroom has a king bed and the second has a double, both with blinds. The half room is an open space off the kitchen with a king single, no door and a skylight above, so it is best suited to children or early risers who are happy to wake with the sun. For families it works beautifully. For three couples, it will not.
