French Friday Movie Night

Alliance Française de Newcastle's October film is the drama comedy "Holy Cow."


Set in the picturesque Jura region and the home of Comté cheese, 18-year-old Totone has his childhood cut short after a devastating tragedy. Suddenly the sole carer for his 7-year-old sister Claire, and forced to sell his father’s farm equipment to make ends meet, Totone devises a plan: follow in his family’s cheesemaking footsteps and win the Comté cheese prize – even though he has no idea of where to start.


The little French Market begins at 6pm with the film at 7pm. The film is in French with English subtitles.
