Newcastle Tuna Fest

Newcastle Tuna & Seafood Festival will come to life across the full month of July. A city-wide celebration of seafood, local talent, and Newcastle's identity as a harbour city.

Held in winter, when seafood is renowned for its depth of flavour and seasonal quality, the festival is designed to highlight Australian and local seafood while creating a vibrant event that supports economic activity, encourages people into the city, and helps build a stronger, more exciting Newcastle.

The Newcastle Tuna Fest will include a minimum of seven feature events, highlighting the best of Newcastle seafood, while more than 40 venues across the city will take part by offering a signature seafood dish as part of the festival program.
