Miriam Allan and Erin Helyard – a unique musical pairing of two great artists, appearing together for the first time outside of a capital city at Newcastle Music Festival 2026.
Soprano Miriam Allan is a born-and-bred Novocastrian and former member of the Christ Church Cathedral Choir and was one of four specially selected singers in St George's Chapel for the historic occasion of the funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh. Erin Helyard, fortepianist, harpsichordist, conductor and musical director, appears courtesy of Pinchgut Opera.
